Six months later and this mat is still in amazing condition! It could use a good cleaning but it’s held strong for being in a harsh, dirty environment. The hallway leading to my apartment is an open air, high traffic area, with carpeting that looks like it hasn’t been changed or professionally cleaned in a good 20+ years, it’s ragged, age worn, and covered in stains. I have this mat sitting directly outside my door on this carpet with no barrier between and it has completely withstood all this environment has subjected it to! (SoCal - if you know, you know) The design has not faded or chipped at all, it’s still as stiff, thick, and strong as it was upon arrival, and the coir material is not matted or stamped down in the least. Very happy customer and I would say that I’d definitely purchase again but I swear this mat seems like it’s going to last a few decades!
